Effective Wed., June 17, 2020, we will resume fingerprinting services to the public. The services are available Wednesday & Thursday from 12 pm-3 pm. Please remember to continue to adhere to the CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19, wear a face mask/covering, and maintain social distance.
If an agency or business requests a copy of your fingerprints, the Sheriff’s Office handles the request. The Arlington County Sheriff’s Office ONLY offers electronic (digital) fingerprinting i.e. electronic fingerprint printed on a blank fingerprint card.

Please be advised, cell phones, and other electronic devices i.e. apple watches, iPads are not allowed in the Courthouse. Coin-operated lockers are available in the lobby of the Arlington County Detention Facility.
What to Bring
- Print cards (we offer blank FD-258 cards, but you must verify with your agency that the cards are acceptable)
- Valid Picture ID with your signature i.e. Driver License, State ID, or Passport
- $10 for the first card, $5 for each additional card
- Cash only
Expungement of Criminal Warrants
- Bring a copy of the petition on file with Court an original arrest warrant
